Limited Edition Amateur Blonde 12" Vinyl (CDs in image no longer available )
VINYL LOVERS: "I spared no expense with the vinyl production. It ended up being more expensive, but I wanted to meet everyone in the chain of vinyl production and learn about vinyl production and artistry. After months of careful recording, editing, mixing, the mastering was done by Adrian Morgan at Timeless Mastering in Brooklyn, NY. Following that, the 'Lacquer Master' was cut by none other than Ray Janos at Sterling Sound in Manhattan. Janos cut many of our favorite records, including works by Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Ramones, The Clash, The Strokes, Yo La Tengo, and the Rolling Stones. Side A and B lacquer masters were sent to RAINBO RECORDS in CA (RIP after 80 years in 2019). Maarten Kleyne gate-fold art.

about
"When they took the scaffolding down on 5th Avenue (NYC) and I lost my way. That metaphor kinda interested me, as it reminded my of our troubles as humans in seeing simple truths right in front of us. I'd been wanting a metaphor for this country's reaction to 9/11 and this was perfect."

Since they fell down, fell down,
We’ve been flying flags and throwing fists again.
Since they fell down, fell right down,
What we've learned in war has been forgotten.
C
Since they fell down, fell down,
C D
We’ve been trying hard to be nice again.
And the idiots are singing...
A, D (open up)
Da da da da da da da da da da dum.
Da da da da da da da da da da dahdahdah.
Da da da da da da da da da da dum.
Da da da da da da da da da da dahdahdah.

'Hey Ice Machine' is a great band from Boston that features the songs of Tom Novotny, one of Amateur Blonde's oldest friends. They take their name from a Minutemen song lyric too! Check out 'Trees'. Amateur Blonde
We love Pat Hull. His sound is inspirational and elegiac, all at once. A voice with the unique likeness of a samurai sword, slicing out emotion cleanly, placing it on a table for you to stare at it. Amateur Blonde
